Stepping out into freezing rain on a porch covered with snow, sleet and now rain; a cheery voice overhead startled me. Poised like a black exclamation mark perch in the top of our 60 foot blue spruce, KaChing burbled his tribute to the season! I love the liquid notes the way he tumbles them. Look out cardinals, sparrows, chickadees, and titmeese, the battle of the feeder will begin! THE HEAD Blackbird is BACK!
