Spring is definately on the birds minds! KaChing's noisy banter is missing, but it was quite cold last night. He must have gone a little further south. As I enjoyed the hot tub, the tapestry of bird voices was amazing! A bluebird murmured in the willow (they always sound like robins with colds.) A cardinal poured out nonstop "Cheer, cheer!" A murder of crows held a noisy convention out in the catalpa grove, perhaps over the roadkilled deer, I slid down the bank. Woodpeckers, chickadees, song sparrows filled any gaps left over! Sure beats winter silence to hear that much hope bubbling over!
