I saw only one robin, a male, as I was heading south along a concession road. The landscape around was forest. The bird flew across the road in front of my (slowly moving) car and lit on a tree branch. It had some bit of dry grass or leaf in its bill, nesting material I presume. The time of day was about 2 pm, the weather was sunny and about zero Celsius.
