Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/06/2006

Number: 1

The weather was clear with a high of 43 degrees and low of 24 degrees, I saw 2 Robins
-one male and one female- both went right into the Holly tree for a bite to eat. He came out
first and sat in the Maple tree right beside the Holly tree, while she continued to feed on the
berries. Finally she flew into the Maple tree where he was and they sat for a bit. He left, while
she stayed in the tree for about 8 minutes more. I turned my head and she was gone.

It pretty much happens this way every year, I think he may be the male I spotted back in January.
We have had a very mild winter here. Just before noon I thought I heard a short Robin song, my
sighting was later in the day.
