We have a bird bath in my backyard. For the first time (I've lived in this house for 4 years), a flock of Red Winged Blackbirds were using the bird bath as a water source. What is interesting is that day I went outside to view them up close and noticed that the stream that runs through our yard was polluted (a sewer pipe broke up stream). I believe that is why I saw so many birds in one location. Thanks to them I noticed the problem and had it remedied that day!
