A person who lives in the neighborhood in Glenwood, Mn where I have been seeing a robin all winter, said that there were a hundred (perhaps an exaggeration) robins in his front yard early yesterday morning. There are a couple of flowering crab trees there, with berries on them yet, so they were enjoying them I guess. There are many berridflowering crab trees in the neighborhood, and a stream of open flowing water.
When I went for my walk at about 12:15, and saw no robins around anymore.
