All Other Signs of Spring

Update on my previous report:

Friday morning while looking out into the garden from the window, I thought I saw tulips emerging in my large tub but since the ground was still quite soggy I didn't go out. Saturday was bright and sunny and so I decided to take a look around. The tulips had indeed emerged and some were about 2-3 inches tall already. The helleborus had three large flower buds on it this year even though the leaves had been burned from recent wind and low temps and no snow cover to protect them. My recently purchased red buckeye saplings were also budding out.
