The Loon was seen Saturday, about 1:00. The large, black bird was so big it drew the eye immediately. It moved all over the harbor, preening and diving. It looked about halfway between Peterson's adult winter and adult summer illustrations, with a head more gray than black, but with well defined collar, white above, black below.
