Just had a male rufous hummingbird perching on a black poplar branch in the yard.  Of course he decided to visit when the feeder was inside for refilling. I've been expecting the little buggers for over a week as they are late to my place in north Mason County west of Belfair. Last year they arrived on March 4. Oh well, must have been some good sight-seeing on the way here.
