We observed five monarch butterflies flying in circles above the butterfly garden. They circled towards the pine habitat, but then they returned to the butterfly garden. One had tattered wings, but the others were brightly colored. We also found several milkweed plants in our garden. One of them had a caterpillar, but most had milkweed eggs and bugs.
