Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/14/2006

Number: 1

Dr. Lincoln Brower reported tonight that the butterflies are gone from the Chincua sanctuary! He's amazed by how quickly they departed. They'll check Pelon tomorrow (3/15/06), and will find out if Herrada still has any.

On Friday (10 March) Lincoln was in Chincua with Karen Oberhauser and several other scientists. While many butterflies were leaving, there were still a large number of butterflies left in the colony. The group went to Mexico City, and headed back to Angangueo yesterday (3/14/06).

Have all of the colonies emptied, he wonders?
