The weather happened to be quite nice here that week (not usual), 45-55 degrees during the daytime, dropping into the high 30's during the night. Quite early in the morning, daybreak, there must have been 3-4 dozen Robins landing on the ground in our 2 acre open lot (live in country setting surrounded by woods). A few were singing, but most were just bouncing in their usual manner on the grass!
