Monarchs suddenly started on the 12th and in a couple of days I could always find at least three by looking out my living room window.
Since then, probably four at any one time.
My Mountain Laurel attracts constantly, but they like even better the Mexican Buckeye (the one with three seed lobes) which blooms in my yard and along lots of the creek ridges. About four years ago the Mexican Buckeye was even more in bloom at this time, and it was the favorite plant that year.
