All Other Signs of Spring

I thought I saw a Robin except it was a ways down in a tree at someone elses' yard. The temperatures remain at 27 degrees in the evening and warm up to 42 degrees about 11:00 a.m and then drop down as the afternoon advances to evening. However, a mourning dove did enjoy the warm patio and the feeder and proceded to call just about 11:00 a.m. The mourning dove called for about 15 minutes but, alas there was no response. I am not that familiar with male or female species except I assume that it was a male. It was larger and chubbier than most mourning doves.
