Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/20/2006

Number: 1

Last spring I think I may have seen a single weathered beat up "geriatric" Monarch but this spring in San Antonio I have seen a couple dozen already the past 7 days or so.

I have had a hard time finding any Milkweed in urban/suburban gardens that have emerged and thus have not seen any eggs. (No host plants)

Most do NOT seem to be weathered but in fairly bright plumage if that is the correct term.
