Yesterday at 1:30 pm, museum staff saw one of our Red Emperor tulips in the Children's Learning Garden began to reflex one petal in the act of blooming. Today I saw it fully open. Our tulips emerged early, but several cold snaps plus very dry weather delayed bloom a little later this year compared to past years. Welcome, spring!
