After a heads-up from Cindy, I spotted the first milkweed leaves in my back yard this afternoon. The plant is still small, about 3 inches in diameter and only an inch tall. There were no shoots from the center yet....will be a week or two before we see that here I suspect. The stage is setting up. We're getting ready for the orange and blacks! I just hope they don't arrive here too early for a good old fashioned milk dinner.
