Ms. Monarch is doing fine. Friday the sun started to show itself again, I turned up the thermostat in my office and Ms. Monarch started laying eggs.

I don't know if there was a cause and effect with the light and temperature, but she laid 9 eggs on Friday, 20 on Saturday, 32 on Sunday, and as of noon Monday she had laid 26. I know that changing both the temperature and her getting more daylight does not make for a good experiment since I changed two variables at once, but one or maybe both together got her started again.

I'm going to my granddaughter's class Friday. I hope she makes it until then.
