On Tuesday, the 28th of March, the temperature got to nearly 50F. I'm a beekeeper and Tuesday was the first day that the bees had a dull yellow pollen on them. First pollen of the year. After following a couple flight paths, it appeared that they were working a silver maple tree that was just barely flowering.
