Great Blue Heron

We spotted a pair of Great Blue Heron's flying during the day. At dusk, we saw a pair again and then also saw a lone Great Blue Heron. We found 2 bass fish carcasses which had been eaten by a non-human. (The heron?)

Mallard Ducks

We saw 2 male Mallards talking with each other about the 1 present female Mallard.

Other Ducks/Teals

We saw 3 pairs of duck-like birds flying and circling the pond. They landed and sang a song we didn't recognize. It was at dusk and too dark to look at their markings.
