My first graders are VERY excited because our tulips have emerged. The snow melted only 2 days ago. The tulips were about an inch tall yesterday. We think that this is because there was very little frost in the ground beneath the snow. Amazing! Today it is raining! We hope that this means that there will be a lot more growth over the weekend. (It is predicted to be in the 50's during the daytime.)
