At sunrise this morning I looked outside our bedroom window overlooking our backyard garden in the hopes of seeing or hearing a robin (the past years my first robin sighting/heard was on March 31st, like clockwork!). Lo and behold, I saw a pair fly over the garden and perch in a neighbouring tree. Then a third robin flew up to the garden, perched up on the hydro wire that crosses over to the house and they called out to each other for a while. Then they all flew off. (no singing yet... but it won't be long!) Welcome back feathered friends! :)
