Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/30/2006

Number: 1

I live in Lawton, OK, and my husband Mike and I saw tons of Monarchs yesterday, some mating, others harassing Goatweed Leafwings. Our first of the year was last Saturday evening (3/25/06), a lone Monarch perched in a pine tree in a neighboring yard seeking shelter from the wind. I would estimate that we saw 15 or so yesterday (3/30/06).
