We are in the 20% of New Orleans that did not flood, and we have had Monarchs nectaring and laying eggs all winter. Two weeks ago a neighbor brought me a deformed female recently eclosed from the chrysalis that had been trapped between a stem and the side of her house. I think the drought has been hard on the local population
