Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/18/2006

Number: 1

On March 18, I was out walking my dogs. I took a double take as two monarchs frittered by me. I tried to follow them to be absolutely positive about the sighting. They kept moving without lighting near me. I can confidently say they were Monarchs. We have had unseasonably warm weather the last few weeks, and lots of plants and animals are making themselves known. I'll look for milkweed and let you know what I find.

Wonder what all this is all about. Global warming? Weather patterns changing behavior patterns of the Monarchs?
