I was in my car in front of my grandmother's house waiting for my grandma to get out of the house and in the car so we could drive to my sisters baby shower. While I was waiting I happened to look out the window into the ditch. At first I thought that what I saw was just a sparrow. Then its red breast gave it away. One after another they kept coming. More and more Robins. I found myself smiling at the mere thought of spring. NO MORE SNOW! Then I wondered where they were all coming from. At least ten had landed. Looking up I found that there were many more on top of the phone line post. Many many more. I was overjoyed by the wave.
