The third grade students in our Gifted (PEAK) program have been watching our school grounds closely. When this butterfly came flying through the playground area, the students started shouting and the teachers were able to check to see if they were correct. Later in the same day as the students were getting on the bus to go home, I saw another Monarch heading northward over our school grounds.
