The Great Blue Heron and the Snowy Egret have been puddle jumping waiting for the ice to leave the marshes. Most marshes are ice free today and the Ice is out in Flekkjford lake near Elbow Lake today 4-6-06.
Also the striped chipmunks have made their appearance helping themselves to left over squirrel and bird food.
