I observed first-hand an adult monarch butterfly on my purple flowers growing in my back yard. I also observed a smaller monarch just a few minutes later sitting on our garden hose This happened this afternoon around 3:30 P.M. I have been waiting patiently alll winter long to see my very favorite insect. I truly think that the monarch is God's most beautiful creature he created.
