Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/05/2006

Number: 1

We were very excited to see that our tulips bloomed when we returned from Spring Break! We noticed that they had grown a lot in just one week. Some of our tulips grew as much as 14 or 15 centimeters. Our soil temperature increased by 6 degrees Celsius. That's a pretty big jump from the week before break. We noticed that there were two patterns emerging on the map. Tulips closer to the ocean bloomed earlier because they were getting more water. Tulips closer to the equator bloomed earlier because the angle of the sun is more direct. That's what we observed about our tulips.
