My first sighting was April 9, 2006 at Reliance, Tn. Saw lots of other species that day along the Hiwassee River and along the "Old Line" railroad (a 40 mile piece of track between Delano, and Copperhill in Tennessee. 27 miles of the track runs through the Cherokee National Forest.
