Just saw an adult monarch fly around my house !! only seen one in the Spring around here and that was about 8 years ago - that monarch laid eggs on a 2 inch tall milkweed plant -
The one today (sunny and warm) was flying North - fluttering quickly - looked dull in color and small - not the bright colors i see in the fall with newly emerged one - Friend of mine saw one yesterday about 3 miles south of here and it was crossing the road -
