There were 3 moderately faded Monarchs nectaring on an apple tree in the backyard. Yesterday my Dad saw as many as 4 Monarchs nectaring on the apple blossoms at one time. The weather today is sunny with a few cumulus clouds, with temps in the upper 70's and SW winds at 10mph. The current spring migration is the best one since 1997 here in NE MS. It seems the faded Monarchs are in above average condition compared with previous years.
