A rufous hummingbird made two brief visits in the afternoon of April 10 at around 2PM, but was not seen again until April 15, when again it made only two very brief visits. Temperatures continue to be only in the 30's and 40's F., so Spring 2006 is definitely delayed in the Juneau region.
