One tulip bloomed on the 18th. The "compass point" experiment was interesting as the one that bloomed first is in the path of the north wind, facing the West. Others with more sun, shielded from the wind have not yet produced blooms. The impression is that the ground may be warmer in that area due to groundwater flow.
