We have had unseasonably warm days here - running almost 10 degrees above normal. Our tulips first emerged only about 10 days ago...and now they are blooming! It's very exciting. We planted 2 gardens, one under a tree, and one at a flagpole only about 40 feet away. Those under the tree bloomed first. We wonder why! They get the same sunlight. Is there something about the tree that is providing extra nutrients????
