Sugar Maple sighting; the tree's buds have been swelling and the tree has taken on a reddish tint. The Sugar Maple is flowering and the samara's have shown up though they are very small. The leaves are also not very large, but they are about an inch to two inches in length. The weather has been cold and dry for much of late winter and early spring. Although, now in March it has begun to rain more and the temperature has heated up. Other flowers and trees around are also blooming.
