All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 04/16/2006

Number: 1

When I wasn't watching most of the trees have leafed out. One pair of Goldfinch arrived at the feeder. The Weeping Willow is flowering. The Robins have been gathering nesting material, except I haven't been able to locate the nest.
I saw a pair of Wild Turkeys next door. They seem to be heading and eating in a southeasterly direction. Haven't seen them since. I guess this is what spring is in the state of Massachusetts. When the sun is out it is in the upper 60's and when the ocean breeze comes in the dampness is felt. Evening temperatures can still be at 40 degrees F.
