Below my balcony, I have noticed a new Robins nest in the tree. Is it typical for the female to lay eggs and keep them ungaurded? Or am I disturbing thier comfort and safety by observing them from such a close distance? I have noticed one egg yesterday, and now a second has been layed, but still no Robins gaurding the nest.
