Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/23/2006

Number: 1

Hi, WE live in Stephenville, which is in Central part of Texas. We have a 100 acre farm about 12 miles out from Stephenville. Sunday, April 23, 2006 --while we were out checking on our horses and new little filly, my kids found a larva on a milk weed plant. Then we started searching for fun, and the milk weed plants are just loaded. The milk weed grows wild out at the farm. We have a lot of butterfly's out there, too but this is the first time we have actually found them(larva) on the milk weed. There very health. Fat and eating well!!!!

I will mark my calendar and check next year as well.

I go out there almost every day so we will take notes and report anything exciting.
Also, last week I saw the first hummingbird. Very usually , so early.
Thank you, Margaret
