The first monarch sighting was fluttering across the 12th fairway at the Currituck Club golf course on the Outer Banks of N C on a sunny Thursday afternoon.
The second sighting and a different butterfly(it was much more faded in color) was the same afternoon on the 16th fairway, my husband said it was definitely heading in a northern direction.
