On Saturday, April 22, 2006 Roger Kuhlman took a voucher photograph of a female Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) on a approximately 2 inch tall Milkweed plant (Asclepias syriaca) at the Petersburg State Game Area, Monroe County, Michigan, just south of Petersburg, Michigan.
