I have had a pretty creditable report of a Common Loon at Swan Haven, Marsh Lake about 15 minutes south of Whitehorse. There is still no open water in the lakes surrounding Whitehorse, but the loon was seen on the Yukon River at the very start (Marsh Lake is the headwaters of the Yukon River).
