I saw my earliest orieole signting today in some flowering fruit trees near my office in Troy, Michigan. I live in Redford, Michigan, which is in Wayne Co. and about 22 miles southwest of Troy, MI.

It was a surprise to see one in April. The date that they usually return is between May 5 and May 10 each year. I have not seen any in Redford yet this season, but rushed home to put more oranges and jelly in the feeders this evening.
