Adult female, faded, but not torn. Flying over the milkweed patch in my yard, focusing on laying eggs on the A. tuberosa. It ignored the A. incarnata which grows near, and laid at least 12 eggs on the tuberosa which are about 4 to 8 inches tall, with more than one egg on some plants.
