On 27 April 2006 a friend reported a monarch flying at Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar VA.

Also, LPB saw first (old, faded) monarch female here this spring ovipositing on new sprouts of Asclepias syriaca at our home, Cat Rock Mountain, Nelson CO. VA. 1500 feet elevation.
