The Monarchs are extremely few and far between here in Ponca City this spring, but that is usually the case. Evidentally these guys/gals don't enjoy this route in the spring.I'm very curious as to why. I spotted ONE beauty this morning flying east then north. Evidentally in this area the M's are solitary right now. Temp this morning at the time of observation was apx 70 F with a light northerly breeze.
