Sure enought, the little guy appeared outside the window--just a few feet from our faces--took a quick sip from the feeder and zipped away.
Now, as of May 3rd, we have seen him (or another) visiting regularly every day.
May 25th Update
First female appeared at the feeder! Our neighbor, Spencer, said he saw a female on the 21st but this is the first one I've seen. We've had cold, raining weather for ~ 2 weeks which clearly held the migration back.
