This was technically on Assateague Island, further south than Ocean City. Along the edge of one of the parking lots in one of the sunnier, more-open areas of the park, I saw Milkweed up about a foot. As I reported when I saw the plant elsewhere earlier in the day, no Monarchs were present. In both instances while in Maryland, there were fairly-strong sustained winds of 30-40 mph (I do not know from which direction).
