I am 60 years old and this is the first time I have ever seen a Bald Eagle in the wild in this area. I was driving east on FM 519. It came soaring in about 3 feet above a barb wire fence,on my right, giving me a perfect view of its white head and brown body. No one else I have talked to, has ever seen one in this area. It was a wooded area with a bayou not far behind the property.
